8. Alamo: The Santa Anna army had many soldiers and the american army was trapped inside a mission called the Alamo with canons and very little gunpowder. After 12 days of holding off the mexican army, the american soldiers were attacked by canon fire and killed.
San Jacinto: The small army of 900 led by general Houston attacked the Santa Anna army yelling," remember the Alamo!" and "Remember Goliad!" The americans killed more than 600 and captured about 700. The Santa Anna army then signed a treaty.
