Manifest destiny

In the picture title manifest destiny every object is moving in the same directions which at the current time of  the picture is West. The background objects consist of a railroad systems, ships in the water, telephone poles, a bridge, and large amounts of people. Towards the left side of the picture the light is darker and there is rougher terrain. The terrain before the mountains is open and grassy, The ideal land for farmers. The giant lady in the middle of the portrait represents freedom and westward civilization.
